We’re the Cosmopolitan Youth, an international political party at the University of Potsdam, with 39 members from different nations. With a mission to merge and make a global voice of youth, we are aiming to formalize a globalized education system for the next generation.

Diversity is our pride, the vision is to bridge the oceans.

We are from (2020):
Bangladesh, Bulgaria, China, Germany, Ghana, India, Mexico, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Russia, Syria, USA, Veitnam.

Our Agendas of 2020:
1) Translation of University Regulation
Information about student bodies and other organizations of university must be provided in officially adopted languages of university. Several non-native students could not participate in university programs due to the language barrier.

2) Bilingual degree certificate
Potsdam University degree certificate requires an additional English translation certificate to validate itself internationally. University provides a translation but that certificate expires in a certain period. We are demanding for a bilingual certificate as a solution for life-long translation issue of international students.

3) Library on Sunday
Our university has thousands of students who spend their weekend scrolling their laptop screens at home. We wish to have access to the library on Sunday so that students could utilize their social time with a learning environment.

4) Vegan food at the campus
Climate change is the concern for which we are united, globally. To become eco-friendly, how could university affect our lifestyles and daily needs?

Long Term Goal: Globalized Education Platform by 2025
Quality Education is a privilege and decentralizing such education is an attempt to unify distant worlds. In 2019, we have started Peace Train project which aims to connect remote schools as a multilingual network through the internet.

Initiative:

1) PEACE TRAIN:
To establish a globalised education system, by which a newborn mind could grasp the understanding of human diversity and its history within an intellectual frame. Challenges like "Breakthrough Message" are openly demanding for unified thinking of our generation. As we are going towards the future, we should also look into our past to find creative solutions for primitive problems.
