[Npfreiraum] Freiraum im Haus 9 statt im ehemaligen Buchladen // StudiCafe in house 9 instead of the former bookstore

Hallo liebe Freiraum-Initiative,

ich kann hiermit glaube ich eine sehr spannede Neuigkeit mitteilen.

Aktuell sind wir als AStA ja in Verhandlungen mit der UP Transfer GmbH 
um ggf. perspektivisch den UniShop in studentischer Selbstverwaltung zu 
überführen und zu einen Projekt der Studierendenschaft zu machen bzw. 
auch erstmal grundsätzlich eine deutlich stärkere Bindung an die 
Studierendenschaft zu bekommen statt der aktuellen Situtation, wo der 
UniShop eher Nischendasein fristet. (Des Weiteren verhandeln wir mit der 
UP Transfer GmbH auch über andere Punkte, darüber soll es aber nicht gehen.)

Jedenfalls wurde uns im Rahmen dieser intensiven Austausche mit der UP 
Transfer GmbH folgendes Angebot als AStA gemacht, was euch als AK 
Freiraum bestimmt stark interessieren wird:

Statt der aktuell 19,61m² großen Fläche im ehemaligen Büroladen die 
rechtlich den AStA (Und damit euch als Freiraum Ini) zusteht, wurde uns 
angeboten im Haus 9 das Büro in Raum 0.Z19a (19,3m²) sowie den 
Besprechungsraum 0.20 (34,84m²) zu bekommen.

Das sind die bisherigen Räume des Unishops, die entsprechend mit den 
Umzug in den ehemaligen Buchladen nicht mehr gebraucht werden. Jedoch 
braucht der UniShop für  Backoffice und Handlager im ehemaligen 
Büroladen zwingend noch etwas mehr Fläche, wodurch der kleine 
Mini-"Freiraum" im ehemaligen Buchladen dann zum Unishop übergehen würde.

Da wir als AStA inzwischen etwas mehr Mitarbeiter:innen haben und die 
Bürofläche im KuZe dafür nicht mehr ausreicht würde wir als AStA gerne 
das Büro in 0.Z19a als Beratungsbüro von Konstantin (Unseren 
AStA-Studi-Anwalt) nehmen und den Besprechungsraum gerne euch als 
Freiraum überlassen bzw. zu den geplanten StudiCafe entwicklen.

Natürlich ist ein Freiraum bzw. StudiCafé innerhalb des Hauses 9 
vermutlich ein leicht anderes Konzept, jedoch ist der Raum 0.20 direkt 
zentral am Eingang des Haus 9 und deutlich größer als die 19m² im 
ehemaligen Buchladen.

Gerne würde uns interessieren ob dieser Raum für euch interessant klingt 
und was eure Ideen und Anforderungen wären.

Wenn ihr damit einverstand seid, können wir gerne auch ein gemeinsamen 
Zoom-Call oder Treffen vereinbaren um alles genauer zu besprechen.

Insbesondere wäre es durch der Kooperation mit den (bzw. evtl. Übernahme 
des) UniShop natürlich immer noch möglich den ehemaligen Buchladen für 
Aktionen zu nutzen bzw. in ein Freiraum-Konzept einzubinden.

Hello dear Freiraum Initiative,

I think I can share some very exciting news with you.

Currently we as AStA are in negotiations with the UP Transfer GmbH to 
transfer the UniShop into student self-administration and to make it a 
project of the student body or to get a stronger connection to the 
student body instead of the current situation, where the UniShop is 
rather a niche project. (Furthermore, we are negotiating with the UP 
Transfer GmbH about other points, but that's not what we want to talk 
about).

In any case, in the course of these intensive discussions with UP 
Transfer GmbH, the following offer was made to us as AStA, which will 
certainly be of great interest to you as AK Freiraum:

Instead of the current 19,61m² space in the former office store which 
legally belongs to the AStA (and therefore to you as Freiraum Ini), we 
were offered to get the office in room 0.Z19a (19,3m²) as well as the 
meeting room 0.20 (34,84m²) in house 9.

These are the former rooms of the UniShop, which are no longer needed 
after the move to the former bookstore. However, the UniShop needs some 
more space for backoffice and warehouse in the former office store, so 
the small "free space" in the former bookshop would be transferred to 
the Unishop.

Since we as AStA have in the meantime somewhat more coworkers and the 
office surface in the KuZe is not sufficient for it any longer we would 
like to take as AStA the office in 0.Z19a as consulting office of 
Konstantin (our AStA student lawyer) and leave the meeting area gladly 
to you as free space and/or develop to the planned StudiCafe.

Of course, a free space or StudiCafé within the house 9 is probably a 
slightly different concept, but the room 0.20 is directly central at the 
entrance of the house 9 and significantly larger than the 19m² in the 
former bookstore.

We would like to know if this room sounds interesting to you and what 
your ideas and requirements would be.

If you agree, we would be happy to arrange a joint zoom call or meeting 
to discuss everything in more detail.

Especially through the cooperation with the UniShop it would still be 
possible to use the former bookstore for events or to integrate it into 
a free space concept.
